Rescue - salvage studio style

Beth and I went on a salvage operation Thursday. A family friend's house in Edmonds, slated to be torn down, contained a few treasures we were able to rescue. The biggest and brightest is a stained glass window from Bonney-Watson Mortuary. We are all about salvage with a story behind it.

Beth was also very brave and went up into the attic of the workshop on the property. Between the two of us we managed to get a great carved wooden chair frame down some rickety homemade stairs. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Look for some of our terrific finds at the studio in the very near future. -Lisa

Bingo was her name-o!

How much do we love bingo cards?

Beth cleverly used them as backing for some jewelry she brought into the studio this week. They look terrific...and they are RED! As you know, we love red.

When packaging up your own creations think fun backgrounds and what is plentiful (and cheap) in the universe; old record album covers, cereal boxes, game boxes.
